Mind games

In "Mind of a Man" (7 p.m., GSN), two female contestants try to figure out what men really think about dating, marriage and work, which means this game show will be harder than "Final Jeopardy!" A group of comedians, as well as "The Love Boat's" Ted Lange, chime in with their thoughts.

We the people

Beth Behrs and Kat Dennings take a break from delivering groaners on "2 Broke Girls" to host "The 40th Annual People's Choice Awards" (8 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4), the bottom-feeder of all awards shows. Among the hodgepodge of categories: Best TV Gal Pals, Best Music Fan Following and Best Streaming Series.

Baby, it's cold outside

In "Chasing Shackleton" (9 p.m., TPT, Ch. 2), a three-part adventure series, a group of explorers retrace the 1914 expedition of Sir Ernest Shackleton, who was stranded in the Antarctic for more than 500 days. For those interested in more, check out the 2002 film "Shackleton," starring Kenneth Branagh.
