Back in business

Don't blame Shonda Rhimes for the delay in getting your Olivia Pope fix. The much anticipated return of "Scandal" (8:01 p.m.) — as well as her shows "Grey's Anatomy" (7 p.m.) and "How to Get Away With Murder" (9 p.m.) — was put on hold last week for a "20/20" special on Donald Trump. It's not the first family's fault, but the new president may want to express his sympathies by commissioning son Eric to make a cameo at Seattle Grace.

KSTP, Ch. 5

The never-ending story

"Supernatural" may have a new time slot, but don't expect the 12-year-old drama to disappear soon. CW president Mark Pedowitz recently said that "as long as it's performing and the two boys want to do it and I'm sitting in this chair, this show has a long life." Considering that Pedowitz has been at the network since it was created in 2006, expect to follow "the boys" (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) all the way to the nursing home.

7 p.m., WUCW, Ch. 23

Burn notice

Only the mean remain. "Jeff Ross Presents Roast Battle II," which has been airing on Sundays, heads into the multipart finale, which will unfold over the next four nights. That's a lot of insults.

9 p.m., Comedy Central
