Crowded house

CBS deserves the credit — or blame — for keeping Omarosa Manigault in circulation by casting her in "Big Brother: Celebrity Edition," which will air roughly four nights a week throughout the month. The interaction between the controversial Trump insider and B-listers like Keshia Knight Pulliam and Mark McGrath is sure to be heated, but watch the fireworks really erupt when producers strip the refrigerator of Smartwater.

Mixed emotions

The recent announcement of Oscar nominations reminded me that only three animated films — "Beauty and the Beast," "Up," "Toy Story 3" — have ever made the shortlist for best picture. 2015's "Inside Out," which features the inner struggles of a young girl, deserves to be in their company. Re-watch this instant classic for proof.

Mind of a murderer

The action in "The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story" shifts to Minneapolis, where Andrew Cunanan (Darren Criss) committed his first two murders. The filmmakers don't go to great lengths to capture the city, with the exception of a cheesy ad aimed at tourists and a pub crawl that stops at Nye's Polonaise Room.
