Witch craft

Don't expect to see Twin Cities resident James Denton doing a lot more local theater anytime soon. He's too much in demand on TV, where he originally broke through on "Desperate Housewives." He's got a regular role in Catherine Bell's "Good Witch," which moves from the occasional movie to a weekly series. 7 p.m. Saturday, Hallmark

Shake down

After its star-studded 40th anniversary bash earlier this month, "Saturday Night Live" is bound to be a letdown, especially with pouty "50 Shades" star Dakota Johnson as host. The most lively part of the evening will most likely be the performances from Alabama Shakes. 10:29 p.m. Saturday, KARE, Ch. 11

Live from Nazareth

CNN continues to boost its original series lineup with "Finding Jesus: Faith, Fact, Forgery," which uses the latest research and experts to shed light on one of the most famous people of the last 2,000 years. 8 p.m. Sunday, CNN
