It should be fun seeing how much younger actors can channel such icons as Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis. "Mike and Molly" veteran Billy Gardell portrays Elvis' manager, Col. Tom Parker.

The success of "The Blacklist" hinges so much on James Spader's off-kilter charm that it is hard to imagine a spinoff working without him. Still, I'm optimistic about "The Blacklist: Redemption," if only because lead actress Famke Janssen handled her guest-star appearances on the mother ship with her own charms. Like Spader's character, her once-ruthless operative, Susan Hargrave, seems poised to take a walk on the good side. But old habits are hard to break.
