Macalester College sophomore Jen Katz matches her wits against other young minds during the College Championship on "Jeopardy!" Katz is on the staff of the St. Paul school's newspaper, which means that she's representing Twin Cities academics and media. Let's hope that the pressure isn't too daunting.

The power of three

Anyone fantasizing about a menage a trois should probably catch the Season 2 premiere of "You Me Her," the sitcom in which a trio finds that three is not always company. The relationship involving Rachel Blanchard, Priscilla Faia and Greg Poehler may have gotten stronger, but the draw of the "marriage" — and the show — remains suspect. Faia's bond with her skeptical roommate (Melanie Papalia) has a lot more emotional appeal than anything going on the bedroom.

Terror from above

The first time I watched "Tower," a documentary about the 1966 shootings that terrorized the University of Texas, the animation that dominates the first half threw me. Then I gave it another chance. While I still find that testimony from survivors and actual news footage resonate the most, director Keith Maitland deserves credit for taking a novel approach to a story that may be foreign to younger viewers.

9 p.m., TPT, Ch. 2
