Harlem nights

Steve Harvey has unofficially surpassed Ryan Seacrest as the busiest man in television. Between game shows, talk shows and beauty pageants, the comedian has squeezed in hosting duties for "Showtime at the Apollo," a celebration of New York's historic theater with appearances by Tracy Morgan, En Vogue and Doug E. Fresh. While the two-hour event is billed as a special, Fox has already announced a follow-up concert for early 2017. Looks like Harvey's dance card will continue to be filled.

French connection

"The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show" moves to Paris, where models Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Kendall Jenner attempt to give tourists in the City of Light something to gawk at besides the Eiffel Tower. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars supply the tunes.

Apres-ski

"Timber Creek Lodge," an upscale ski resort in Canada, offers picturesque views, but you don't have much time to soak in the scenery during the first episode of this new reality series about the youthful staff that keep the place running. Producers are clearly more interested in re-creating "The Real World" than attracting tourists and its ragtag players tick off all the stereotypes — the cocky stud, the bimbo maid, the insecure assistant manager — all of whom seem to think a steady stream of Jagermeister shots is all in a day's work.
