What a wonderful world

If you're using the TV screen as a backdrop while tearing open gifts, try "Disney Parks Magical Christmas Celebration," with Idina Menzel thawing out "When You Wish Upon a Star" and Ciara "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree." Be warned: Once your kids see the footage from Main Street, USA, they'll put a visit to Disney World on the top of next year's Christmas wish list.

Gifts from across the pond

Sherlock Holmes doesn't have a Christmas case to solve this year, but those who want a touch of British drama to celebrate the holiday, will have "Doctor Who: Twice Upon a Time" (8 p.m., BBC America) and "Call the Midwife Holiday Special," (8 p.m., TPT, Ch. 2), both of which promise to be more scrumptious than figgy pudding.

Pure joy

Jennifer Lawrence's "interrogation" of Kim Kardashian during her stint as guest host of "Jimmy Kimmel Live" was one of the late-night highlights of the year and a reminder that the Oscar winner is a national treasure. If you missed it the first time around, be sure to check out this repeat.

10:35 p.m., KSTP, Ch. 5
