White Christmas

Who wouldn't want Betty White over to the house for Christmas? For the second year in a row, Buzzr celebrates TV's golden girl with a collection of her most memorable appearances from "Match Game," "Password" and "Family Feud." White was such a fierce competitor that she ended up marrying "Password" host Allen Ludden. Did that give her an edge? Watch and decide for yourself.

7-10 p.m. Saturday; 5 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday, Buzzr

Sister acts

"Call the Midwife" may not be as popular as "Sherlock" or "Downton Abbey," but it has enough fans to merit a Christmas special. In this one-off episode, the nuns venture out of East London to bring holiday cheer to a missionary in South Africa. Be warned: Miranda Hart, who plays Chummy, wasn't able to make the trip because of other work commitments.

6:30 p.m. Sunday, TPT, Ch. 2

Earthbound

The TBS Binge-a-Thon — 121 hours of repeats over the course of the week — offers a chance to catch up on sitcoms you meant to check out this year. You didn't miss much, with one notable exception. "People of Earth," starring Wyatt Cenac as a skeptical reporter who slowly comes to believe in alien abductions, is a gem that blends elements of "The X-Files" with "The Office." No surprise there. One of the show's creators, Greg Daniels, played a major role in the American version of the workplace sitcom.

10 p.m. Sunday, TBS
