Witchy woman

"The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" has a special gift for Christmas — or should we say solstice? In this "bonus" episode, the good witch makes contact with her not-so-dearly departed mother and tries to rescue a friend before she's dipped in wax. Thank goodness she can rely on the support of Lucy Davis' Aunt Hilda, the gift that keeps on giving.

Bingeing Bart

"The Simpsons" celebrates its 30th anniversary with a 15-hour marathon curated by none other than longtime executive producer Al Jean. The tribute includes some time-capsule classics including "Marge vs. the Monorail" and "Cape Feare."

Run the world (women)

Every generation has ample chance to fall in love with "Little Women" thanks to the never-ending stream of film adaptations. A three-part "Masterpiece" version, originally aired last summer, is being repeated on Sundays throughout the rest of the month. You can also check out the 1994 take (9 p.m., TCM) starring Winona Ryder. Greta Gerwig has an all-star adaptation with Meryl Streep and Saoirse Ronan set to hit the big screen next year.
