TV picks for Dec. 11: 'Scrooged,' 'Bones,' Lauren Conrad

BONES: In an episode that reimagines the Jeffersonian and FBI teams in 1950s Hollywood, Brennan plays an LAPD detective, and Booth is a notorious jewel thief who is far more than he seems to be. When Booth is framed for a murder, he and Brennan team up to clear his name and find the killer in the "The 200th in the 10th" 200th episode of BONES airing Thursday, Dec. 11 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. Rear window

For the 200th episode of "Bones," actor David Boreanaz directed an episode that takes place in 1950s Hollywood with plenty of nods to Alfred Hitchcock. I guess that means that his co-star Emily Deschanel will be donning a blonde wig and refusing to get in the shower. 7 p.m. KMSP, Ch. 9

On the beach

I was under the impression that "Laguna Beach" star Lauren Conrad's 15 minutes of fame was up. Now I'm being told that she's center stage in "Pop Innovators." Wow. Does that mean Twiggy is still relevant? 7 p.m. E!

Ebenezer revisited

Bill Murray is getting high marks for showing off his grouchy side in the new film "St. Vincent," but it's a persona he has played often in the past, including in 1988's "Scrooged," one of the more creative adaptations of Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol." Great cameos by everyone from Robert Mitchum to Jamie Farr. 8 p.m. ABC Family

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
