Getting jiggy with it

"Carpool Karaoke," the breakout sketch from "The Late, Late Show With James Corden," isn't likely to run out of gas anytime soon, especially when you get Will Smith, Miley Cyrus and "Game of Thrones" cast members riding shotgun. Corden will tag along only from time to time, but the stars' enthusiasm suggests that they really don't mind.

Not curbing my enthusiasm

No other sitcom makes me laugh as loud — and with as much shame — as "Difficult People," which returns for its third season of inappropriate behavior. Billy Eichner is the more famous of the two main curmudgeons, but keep in mind that co-star Julie Klausner is the actual creator of the show. She shines just as bright, whether suffering through the holidays with a coked-up Stockard Channing or dissing Woody Allen behind his sleeping back.

Going deep

"Hard Knocks" has taken viewers into the locker rooms of more than a dozen NFL teams — but the Minnesota Vikings still haven't played ball. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing. This season, cameras follow the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
