Eight episodes focused on a single murder case may seem excessive, but the finale of “The Night Of” seems to be upon us all too quickly, with lots of questions begging to be addressed in the 95-minute capper. It’s hard to believe producers will satisfy die-hard fans, but the first season of “True Detective” had an unsatisfactory conclusion and still managed to resonate.
