A meeting of the minds

In his intro to "A Conversation With Bill Moyers," Don Shelby calls his guest the greatest broadcast journalist of his generation. Little in the following hour backs up that claim, but the chat, filmed before a studio audience at TPT headquarters in St. Paul, is nevertheless captivating, thanks to the former WCCO anchor's well-informed questions and Moyers' storytelling chops, put to particular good use as he shares how the lighting of a cigar helped stall a reporter from filing a story on LBJ's upcoming surgery. TV needs more of Moyers — and Shelby.

Shag-adelic

According to IMDB, Matthew Lillard has provided the voice of Shaggy more than 25 times since playing the character in the 2002 film "Scooby Doo." At the same time, he's become a go-to guest star on everything from "The Good Wife" to "The Bridge." The actor now lends his talents to new episodes of "Halt and Catch Fire," the series about the development of Silicon Valley that deserves more than just puppy love.
