How sweet it is

We're down to six as "So You Think You Dance" welcomes Christina Applegate as a celebrity judge. She may seem like an odd visitor, but she got a Tony nomination in 2005 for her stage work in "Sweet Charity." And let's not downplay the way she tap danced around all that nonsense on "Married … With Children." 7 p.m. KMSP, Ch. 9

Weather report

Remember the novelty hit "It's Raining Men?" It was cowritten by Paul Shaffer, David Letterman's sidekick, who makes an appearance on "UnSung" to help Martha Wash, a member of the Weather Girls, who has had a rough time of it since that group recorded the number in 1982. RuPaul also swings by to help Wash re-establish her career. 7 p.m. TVOne

Dearly beloved

The Season 2 premiere of "Preachers of L.A." turns the pulpit over to six very different mega-pastors and their families. Just because they're men of the cloth doesn't mean they don't have their "Real Housewives" moments. 9 p.m. Oxygen
