On the borderline

It's hard to strike a balanced tone when doing a documentary like "Abortion: Stories Women Tell," but director Tracy Droz Tragos makes a strong effort, giving ample time to both sides on the front lines of the emotionally fraught battle in Missouri, particularly at the state's only remaining abortion clinic.

The champ

Let's hope Faye Dunaway's legacy is rich enough that she isn't best remembered for co-starring in The Great Oscar Botch of 2017. The acclaimed actress looks back at her career in "Live From the TCM Classic Film Festival," followed by four of her best films, including "Bonnie and Clyde" and "Network."

Entertainment light

I'm guessing that Nancy O'Dell is prouder of her long tenure at "Entertainment Tonight" than her unwitting participation in a Donald Trump controversy, but there's little chance to see her best work in "Nancy O'Dell Remembers," a new series in which she reflects on her career. The opener centers on coverage of Princess Di's death, but without the rights to footage from "ET" — or Elton John's "Candle in the Wind" — this retrospective falls short.

Nancy O'Dell arrives at the 89th Academy Awards on Sunday, Feb. 26, 2017, at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood. (Jay L. Clendenin/Los Angeles Times/TNS) ORG XMIT: 1198113
