Cry freedom

Literary snobs may revolt at the idea of "The Handmaid's Tale" continuing beyond the scope of Margaret Atwood's classic novel, but Elisabeth Moss and company will keep the rest of us riveted during 13 new episodes, which pick up seconds after the finale of last year's Emmy-winning batch. Anyone fantasizing that Moss' June would head straight to Canada will be scared straight by the opener that uses Kate Bush's "This Woman's Work" as the score for a scene as haunting as anything from Season 1.

The lighter side of Trump

"The Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump," originally aired in 2011, harks back to a time when the president seemed to have a pretty good sense of humor about himself — although to be fair, host Seth MacFarlane and company never mentioned the word "collusion."

8:30 p.m., Comedy Central

She's no angel

Priyanka Chopra may never be as big a star in America as she is in Bollywood, but she continues to impress as a small-screen Wonder Woman in "Quantico," which returns for its third season. As thrillers go, the series will never be mistaken for "Alias," but Chopra kicks butt as well as anyone on network TV.
