Danger, Will Robinson!
A reboot of “Lost in Space” separates itself from the original 1960s series by putting the Robinson parents on the brink of divorce, upgrading the Robot and casting Parker Posey as Dr. Smith. But this 10-part series isn’t nearly as ambitious or thought-provoking as the “Battlestar Galactica” update, which had more on its mind than just cashing in on nostalgia.

Carrie Underwood, who has been largely out of the public eye since November after reportedly taking a tumble at her home, is scheduled to perform during the “44th Academy of Country Music Awards.” Let’s hope fans pay more attention to her new single than her stitches. Expect a big night for Chris Stapleton.

Lennie James, whose character Morgan Jones was the longtime conscience of “The Walking Dead,” is switching sides. No, he’s not suddenly advocating for zombies’ rights. The actor is moving over to “Fear the Walking Dead,” which kicks off its fourth season. Hey, a transfer is better than death, right?
