His songs

Elton John may be heading toward semiretirement, but he can still jam with the kids. He takes his proper place at the piano during the finale of "Elton John: I'm Still Standing — A Grammy Salute," following tributes from Miley Cyrus ("The Bitch Is Back"), Ed Sheeran ("Candle in the Wind") and Maren Morris ("Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters").

Let's get loud

"Frontline" isn't known for the kind of combative debate that dominates cable news, but its latest effort, "Trump's Takeover," is a bit of an exception. What's startling here is that the fights are largely between fellow Republicans, all trying to figure out the future of a party now led by the most unpredictable of presidents.

Gentle giant

"Andre the Giant" pits the public image of the legendary wrestler with his private, painful side in an engaging profile that covers various chapters, including his childhood in France and his hilarious appearance in "The Princess Bride." Despite its ambitions, one gets the sense that the film is holding back on the late star's relationship with the WWE, which is one of the documentary's producers.
