Junior Zach Giesler's third goal of the game gave Providence Academy a 5-4 road win in overtime over Minnehaha Academy Tuesday night in boys' hockey.
Cole Knutson led the Redhawks by completing a hat trick of his own in the second period.
In the third period, the Lions trailed 4-2 after Eli Smith's goal at the 4:25 mark.
Kole DeRosier and Jordan Doucette scored back-to-back in the final six minutes of regulation to necessitate the extra frame.
Minnehaha Academy outshot the Lions 34-26.
Eastview 7, Prior Lake 6: The Lightning had a 7-2 lead before the Lakers made things interesting with four unanswered goals, the last two coming 26 seconds apart with less than four minutes to play. Nate Bordson led the way for Eastview with two goals and three assists. Zach Anderson added two goals. Jackson Jutting had two goals and an assist to lead the Lakers.
Rogers 5, Princeton 3: Luke Nelson had a hat trick for the Royals. And those goals were the junior's first three goals of the season. Dylan Timm added a goal and three assists. Patric Loeffler made 30 saves for Rogers.
South St. Paul 7, Red Wing 3: Cam Kluender's hat trick led the Packers past the Wingers. Nathan Brandecker added two goals and an assist, with goals by Jackson Luhrs and Cade Sexauer completing the scoring.
