Two penalty kicks give Jaguars tie• BLOOMINGTON JEFFERSON 3, EAGAN 3, OT: Tyler Tumberg scored twice on penalty kicks, giving the Class 3A, No. 9 Jaguars an overtime tie with the 10th-rated Wildcats on Tuesday night in South Suburban Conference play in Eagan.

• ELK RIVER 3, MAPLE GROVE 1: Junior Nelson Valdez scored two goals,and the Elks beat the Crimson in the Northwest Suburban.

VOLLEYBALL

• LAKEVILLE SOUTH 3, APPLE VALLEY 0: The Cougars, ranked No. 4 in Class 3A, ran their record to 14-1 with a 25-15, 25-17, 25-19 victory over the Eagles in the South Suburban. Junior Jazzmyn Tingelhoff had 27 set assists and four kills.
