Mounds View boys' track and field coach Ross Fleming celebrates the 35th running of True Team state meet. Fleming said he has long preferred this meet's format to the Minnesota State High School League state meet in June because True Team is a superior gauge of a program's strength in numbers.

Six players plus head coach Garrett Raboin and assistant coach Ben Gordon are from Minnesota. The tournament’s games will be televised starting Monday.
