Cops not laughing at bomb 'joke' A student is in hot water after writing a note in an office at the University of Wisconsin-Stout that mentioned a bomb.

A 19-year-old freshman from Duluth later called campus police and confessed to writing the note, which referred to a bomb but did not include a threat.

Police said the student was extremely apologetic and said the note was written as a joke to a chemistry professor. The student faces disorderly conduct charges.
