Jamin pulled in this nice 42-inch muskie using a Rapala X-Rap Walk topwater bait. After a hard-fought battle, the bait popped off just as it was netted, barely, in a small net that hardly fit the giant. It was a great Fourth of July gift from above, as he had prayed moments earlier for a big one to haul in. His grandpa helped land the fish, which we released.
HOOKED!
Riley Naughton, 7, of Minneapolis caught this 23-inch walleye while vacationing at Pine Cone Lodge on Big Sand Lake. He caught it on his first day on the lake, and spent the rest of the trip asking, "When are we going fishing again?''
NICE BASS
Baylee O'Donnell, 11, of Richfield, caught and released this dandy smallmouth bass while fishing on Ash Lake during her family vacation.
