From Meghan Kane of Apple Valley:
"I grew up fishing on the boat with my dad, and as our first trip out together for the 2012 season, we set out to catch my personal best smallmouth bass. The day started out a bit slow, but who can complain with a beautiful day on the water! After a while things started picking up, starting with a 25.5-inch walleye! A few saugers, sheepheads, and pikes later, we began catching big smallmouths near the Watergate Marina. It was here that I reeled in this beauty, and at 18.5 inches, our mission of catching my biggest smallie was accomplished!"
