Charlie Vance of Minneapolis won the youth division of a "carpfest" tournament with this catch on Pool 2 of the Mississippi River. It took about 10 minutes for the 7-year-old to land his first carp (and biggest fish ever). The 11.4-pound catch finished fourth in the tournament, which featured 41 adults.
