The Shakopee tribe last year compiled a list of its construction projects, of which this is just a sampling. It shows, though, an ever-growing number of substantial projects:
• Koda Energy Facility, biomass burning, Shakopee
• Second sheet of ice at Dakotah Sport and Fitness Ice Arena
• Fire station addition, doubling its size
• Executive offices and warehouse; remodel of former Celebrity Palace
• Playworks Atrium renovation
• 2 megawatt wind turbine
• Biodiesel facility
• Upgrade to water treatment plant
• New Little Six Casino and Little Six Restaurant
• Public works building
• Wellness center and pharmacy
• Household hazardous waste facility
• Mystic Lake showroom and bingo hall
• Clubhouse and restaurant at the Meadows at Mystic Lake golf course
• Water reclamation facility
• East Village subdivision
• Water treatment facility and water tower (1 million gallons)
• The Meadows at Mystic Lake
• Hotel tower (170 new rooms and suites in 16 stories)
