LA CROSSE, Wis. — A trial is underway in La Crosse for a defendant accused of providing the drugs in a fatal overdose and hiding the man's body.

Cain Moss is charged with delivering drugs to 40-year-old Anthony Ducharme in August of 2011. Authorities say after Ducharme overdosed, Moss and three others dumped his body in Red Cloud Park.

Jurors heard testimony Tuesday from Patrick Valiquette, who has already pleaded guilty to lesser charges in the case. WKBT-TV (http://bit.ly/18YKA6f ) says Valiquette described seeing Moss in the kitchen with something wrapped in a carpet. Valiquette said he asked Moss if a body was in the carpet and Moss told him it was.

Valiquette says Moss put the body in a van and drove to the park to dispose of the body. Testimony continues Wednesday.
