The storm system that brought severe weather to Texas Sunday will continue to move eastward today as high pressure builds into western Texas. The result will be a more pleasant day across the southern Plains. A light northwesterly wind will bring a dry air mass to the region as temperatures remain mild and sunshine returns. This area of high pressure will remain in control of the region Tuesday with more tranquil weather, plenty of sunshine and seasonably warm temperatures.
