Tranquil in the Southwest

While a storm and another arctic air mass are starting to impact theinterior Northwest and the northern Plains, high pressure is dominating in theSouthwest. Dry, tranquil weather is in store for California, much of Nevada andArizona.Temperatures will also be mild, especially in coastal areas of central andSouthern California, where an offshore flow will drag warmer air all the way tothe coast. Highs will about 5-10 degrees warmer than normal in the Los AngelesBasin, reaching into the 60s and 70s.
