We're just a week away from the Timberwolves gathering at Target Center for their annual media day, just eight days away from the first training-camp practice in Mankato.
Someone here on the blog has been clamoring all summer for Kurt Rambis' take on the team's makeover. And except for some comments during Las Vegas Summer League -- when the Wolves finalized the Michael Beasley trade one day, then dealt Al Jefferson the next -- Rambis has been in California a good bit and laying low.
Sometime in the next few days, I'm supposed to get him on the phone for an in-depth Q-and-A that will run in the paper next Friday, to preview media day.
