Motorists coming from Wisconsin to Minnesota Thursday will be greeted with a brief traffic delay starting at 10 a.m. as a small stretch of westbound Interstate 94 is reduced to one lane for about an hour.

Crews from the Minnesota Department of Transportation will be testing the freeway's surface and subsurface between the St. Croix River Bridge and the truck weighing station, MnDOT said.
