A good chance to play "Spot the Hanson Brothers" – another fun alternative to "Where's Waldo?" for local music lovers – Twin Cities Public Television's great artist-profile series "MN Original" compiled some of its most recent musicians segments into an all-music episode airing this week. The half-hour show features performances by (in order) Alpha Consumer, Solid Gold, Mayda, Astronautalis, Barbara Jean and the Shiny Lights. Then it finishes with a clip from what might be the series' finest work, the perfectly translucent footage of Cloud Cult performing at Architectural Antiques in northeast Minneapolis (which also serves as a good primer for the acoustic tour on the band's horizon).

The episode airs tonight (Monday) at 7 p.m. on TPT MN, and then again Thursday on TPT Life at 9:30 p.m.. Or you can also watch the whole shebang below via computer, too. And for the record, I counted four different appearances by either Jacob or Jeremy Hanson (guitarist and drummer extraordinaire, respectively).
