TPaw turns 49

Gov. Tim Pawlenty plans to take in a Wild game on his birthday today.

Gov. Tim Pawlenty turns 49 today. On his radio show this morning, the state's highest elected hockey fan said he and Minnesota First Lady Mary Pawlenty plan to attend the Minnesota Wild game. The Wild take on the Colorado Avalanche at 1 p.m.

According to brainyhistory.com, Pawlenty shares a birthday with retired NBA star Nick Van Exel, former Miss America Linette Mertz and the late Jimi Hendrix.
