TPaw's headed for the city of big ambitions

The governor has a trip planned to Chicago next week

November 24, 2009 at 7:15PM

Gov. Tim Pawlenty will make a break for Chicago next week to hang with and raise money from that city's Republican youth.

The money, $50 per person for the young folks, will fuel the governor's Freedom First PAC. From the Chicago Young Republicans:

Join fellow YRs at an exclusive Freedom First PAC reception just for us with Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty!

Thursday, December 3, 2009 at The Hilton Chicago (720 S. Michigan Ave.) from 5-6pm.

Young Republican reception (40 and under) tickets are $50 per person.

Or be a part of the YR Reception Host Committee by donating or raising $500 (includes photo).

The Chicago trip comes the day after Minnesota's state revenue forecast will be released. Pawlenty, who yesterday said of President Obama "right now, he should be focused like a laser on things that will stimulate job growth and recovery," has said he has enough energy to manage the state and travel for politics.
