TOUGH TRAINING

Want to be a contender? Here's what Samiera's weekly schedule looks like:

6 a.m.: Rise and shine.

7:15: Mom drops her at the rink for a 45-minute warm-up.

8:30 a.m.: Coach Incantalupo drives Samiera to Woodbury High School where the sophomore, an "A/B student," attends her two core courses, English and World History. (She takes Biology online.)

12:30 p.m.: Coach picks her up. Back to the rink for practice sessions at 1:30 p.m. (75 minutes) and 4 p.m. (50 minutes). In between, she does homework in a study room at the rink.

5 p.m.: Mom picks her up.

Twice a week, the 5-foot-2¼-inch skater does weight training at a nearby fitness center.
