Dangerous thunderstorms will barrel eastward over the middle South throughearly morning Monday. Damaging winds, hail and flooding downpours will strikewith many of these storms. And at least a few tornadoes will almost certainlyhappen, the highest threat being centered upon Louisiana and southwesternMississippi.Within the affected area will be the cities of Baton Rouge and New Orleans,Louisiana, and Jackson, Mississippi. To the north, Little Rock, Arkansas andMemphis, Tennessee, will have the risk of severe local weather.
During Monday, the site of the thunderstorm outbreak will shift eastwardfrom the Mississippi River, reaching as far east as the southern AtlanticSeaboard.
