C'mon down

The contestants on CBS' hit reality series are never truly done competing. Participants from "Survivor," "The Amazing Race" and "Big Brother" spin the wheel on three consecutive nights of "The Price Is Right" in prime time. The road-tested veterans should do fine in the early rounds, in which knowing the current price of bug spray is vital, but look for "Brother" tenants to soar on the showcase showdown, where winners must be able to rattle off the value of a BRAND NEW HOT TUB!

JoJo Fletcher, the real estate agent who can't close the deal on love, hopes to change her luck — or at least get her own sitcom — when she becomes "The Bachelorette" in the two-hour premiere of Season 12. Suitors include a singer named James Taylor, a dude dressed in a kilt and a Santa Claus who is looking for more than cookies under the tree.

Slam dunk

A tribute to Peabody Award-winning films offers a chance to revisit "Hoop Dreams," the acclaimed 1994 documentary coproduced by Twin Cities Public Television. The movie chronicles two Chicago high school basketball players as they try to make it to the big leagues. Stick around for overtime, which consists of 1986's "Promise," the TV film in which James Garner and James Woods show exquisite teamwork.

THE BACHELORETTE - JoJo Fletcher first stole America's heart on Ben Higgins season of "The Bachelor," where she charmed both Ben and Bachelor Nation with her bubbly personality and sweet, girl-next-door wit and spunk.
