Who ya gonna call?

Timberwolves fans looking for an excuse to engage in the NBA Finals can still rely on "Jimmy Kimmel Live: Game Night," TV's most free-spirited warmup show for the past five years. Guests for the show, which airs before each prime-time game, include the cast of the new "Ghostbusters," the voice talent behind "Finding Dory" and Oprah Winfrey.

Laughter as the best medicine

"Quincy Jones: Burning the Light" wouldn't stand out from other HBO stand-up specials if it weren't for the back story. Jones, 32, has terminal cancer and the high-profile gig was arranged by fan Ellen DeGeneres. Jones has a gift for observational humor, although it's clear he could still use some seasoning when it comes to establishing rapport with an audience and smoothing out his transitions. Unfortunately, time doesn't appear to be on his side.

End of the affair

The big-screen retelling of "Beauty and the Beast," starring Emma Watson, isn't due in theaters until March 2017, but fans of the classic tale of mismatched lovers can get their fix with the return of the series that shares the same name. The drama is kicking off its fourth and final season, and, unlike the highly anticipated film, is based more on the 1987 TV drama than the 1991 animated smash.
