Live and let die

After six seasons of finding innovative ways to spoof James Bond, the title character of "Archer" has been demoted to private detective in a once fresh animated series that's starting to show signs of old age. The only thing left is for the series to explore the inner workings of a retirement home.

Imperfect strangers

The "Rush Hour" film franchise worked only because Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker's offbeat chemistry helped override the trite "opposites attract" setup. Neither star makes an appearance in this TV adaptation, which has an impressive number of high-energy, big-budget action sequences in early episodes. But all the explosions in Hollywood can't make up for the lack of sparks between stars Jon Foo and Justin Hires.

Yawn of Justice

For the 11th time, "Conan" will welcome a full cast from a TV show or movie. This time, it's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," which means big stars including Amy Adams and Holly Hunter will be relegated to space on the couch located somewhere near the restrooms.
