FOR THE BRUINS

Score early: Roberto Luongo has played confidently at home, but an early goal could give him flashbacks to Monday's 5-2 loss in Game 6, in which he was pulled after giving up three goals on eight shots.

Be physical: The Bruins have had success when they have been aggressive in hitting the Canucks, but on the road they have allowed the Canucks to be the aggressors.

Tim Thomas: Just keep doing what he has been doing.

FOR THE CANUCKS

Luongo: Forget his 8.05 goals-against average in Boston. At home, he's 3-0 with a 0.67 GAA and .971 save percentage.

The Sedins: Henrik and Daniel showed some life in the third period of Game 6. It has to carry over to Wednesday night.

Power play: The Canucks are only 2-for-31 in the series.
