Toddler who was hit by car in Ramsey dies

A 2-year-old boy struck by a car in Ramsey on Saturday evening has died, Anoka County sheriff's officials say. The toddler, whose name has not been released, was struck by a vehicle just before 8:30 p.m. Saturday while trying to cross the street on the 14000 block of Junkite Street NE. He was taken by ambulance to North Memorial Medical Center in Robbinsdale, where he died, officials said Sunday.

The incident remains under investigation.
