The Star Tribune is hosting a museum-style reception featuring photojournalism from the 2016 Rio Olympics.

Join the Star Tribune for a free museum-style event featuring our best photojournalism from the 2016 Rio Olympics.

At this happy hour event, you can order an adult beverage from the cash bar; enjoy complimentary Brazil-inspired appetizers; peruse a gallery of large-format prints featuring Star Tribune photography from the the Rio Olympics; and mingle with Star Tribune journalists who traveled to Rio including photojournalist Brian Peterson, reporter Rachel Blount and columnist Jim Souhan.

Want another reason to celebrate? We're installing a permanent photo gallery on the ground floor of the Star Tribune Building, a place to showcase our finest photojournalism. This marks our first exhibit in the new gallery.

Reception: 5-7 p.m. Aug. 30. You can RSVP and read more about the event on our Facebook page.

Cost: Free, with complimentary appetizers and a cash bar.

Where: Star Tribune headquarters — aka #StribHQ — 650 Third Av. S., Mpls. The gallery is located in the street-level lobby off Third Avenue. The exhibit will be on view through September and is open to the public.
