Very old actress to be honored tonight by the Academy. Trust me, you know her:

Worth a read, and not just for "Titanic" enthusiasts - she sounds wonderful, and it's a reminder that not everyone who flits across the entertainment wires is a witless ninny, a scofflaw, or a ranting maniac. Oh, there could be leaked telegrams from 1921 in which she threatens to bury someone in the garden, or obscenity-filled tirades delivered by Morse Code, but I doubt it.
