Another day, another presidential horse race poll.
Public Policy Polling, a survey firm that tends to work for Democratic clients, released a poll Thursday that shows Gov. Tim Pawlenty lagging behind three former governors who are seen as likely GOP candidates in the 2012 presidential race.
Pawlenty, who famously hasn't declared his 2012 intentions, would get 35 percent of the vote against President Obama, who's supported by 48 percent of the registered voters surveyed. That puts him well behind Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin and Mitt Romney in the poll's matchups.
Curiously, though, Pawlenty's presumed candidacy polls better than his name recognition nationwide: 64 percent of those polled have no opinion about him.
