It's not often tickets for a Minnesota high school basketball game go on sale more than a week before it happens.

But it's also not often the game, televised on ESPNU, features two of the nation's top point guards.

Tickets go on sale starting Wednesday morning at Apple Valley High School for the Dec. 7 matchup of the Eagles, with Duke-bound, top-rated point guard Tre Jones, and Minnehaha Academy, led by sophomore point guard Jalen Suggs, regarded as high as No. 3 and the leader of his 2020 class.

Tickets can be purchased at the school's ticket booth from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Monday, Tuesday and next Wednesday, Dec. 6. Cost is $5 for students K-12, $7 for adults.

Doors at Apple Valley open at 6 p.m. on Dec. 7, with game time of 7 p.m.

It will be the second time ESPN has televised a high school basketball game featuring a Minnesota team. The first was Dec. 12, 2013 when Timberwolves guard Tyus Jones, Tre's older brother, played for Apple Valley against the Whitney Young school from Chicago, led by Tyus' future Duke teammate Jahlil Okafor.
