Amelia Karelitz knocked a rebound into the net with 10 minutes, 46 seconds left in the game to give Woodbury a 2-1 victory over Bemidji in girls' hockey on the outdoor rink on Lake Bemidji to kick off the Hockey Day in Minnesota festivities.
Karelitz followed up a shot and beat the Lumberjacks goaltender with four seconds left on a power play.
Hayley Zwakman gave the Royals a 1-0 lead on a backdoor play 6:57 into the game. Maggie Marcotte scored on a rebound to tie the game for the Lumberjacks with 7:17 left in the second period.
Apple Valley 1, Eagan 0: Lizzy Saxen broke a scoreless tie with a power play goal with 4:29 left in regulation to give the Eagles the victory over the visiting Wildcats. Keni Allen made 21 saves for the shutout; Ashley Larson had 26 saves for the Wildcats.
Eden Prairie 4, North Wright County 2: Grace Kuipers scored three goals to lead the Class 2A, No. 8 Eagles past the visiting River Hawks. Kuipers got the scoring started 24 seconds into the game. Sydney Petersen tied the game for the River Hawks 7:23 later. Sydney Langseth put the Eagles back in front 34 seconds into the second period. Kuipers extended the lead with her second of the game 1:37 later. Payton Allen got the River Hawks to within a goal 4:03 into the third. Kuipers completed her hat trick with one second left in the game. Anna LaRose made 31 saves for the River Hawks.
Mounds View 3, White Bear Lake 2 (OT): Paige Landis scored 1:47 into overtime to give the Mustangs the victory over the visiting Bears. Audrey Jackson and Lisa Nadeau scored in the second period to give the Mustangs a 2-0 lead. Sydney Shearen and Jillian Moor scored 1:36 apart in the third period to tie the game for the Bears. Teagen Johnson made 29 saves for the Mustangs, Calla Frank 22 for the Bears.

Coon Rapids 5, Spring Lake Park 4 (OT): Thomas Carls scored 1:50 into overtime to give the Cardinals the victory over the host Panthers. The Cardinals got the win despite giving up the game-tying goal with 11 seconds left in regulation to Derric Bergman. The Cardinals had taken a 4-3 lead just 42 seconds earlier on a goal by Jeremiah Simonson. Cole Nikolaus got the Cardinals on the board first 5:09 into the game. Sam Fritz tied the game for the Panthers with 2:02 left in the first. Zach Zemlicka scored two goals in the second period to give the Panthers a 3-1 lead. Andrew Carls and Kirby Pieri scored 25 seconds apart in the last minute of the second period to tie the game for the Cardinals. Dominic Espinosa had three assists and Connor Wise had 32 saves for the Cardinals. Jack Armstrong had two assists and Steven Lastovich 19 saves for the Panthers.
Park of Cottage Grove 5, East Ridge 4: The Wolfpack scored three goals in the third period to defeat the host Raptors. Matthew Thompson scored the game-winning goal with eight seconds left to record a hat trick. He got the Wolfpack's rally started in the third period 1:00 in and got the Wolfpack' first goal with 4:28 left into the opening period. Colin Jungwirth tied the game for the Wolfpack with 6:05 left in the third period. Michael Gille made 28 saves for the Wolfpack.
