Coatta and Minnetonka skate past Chanhassen MINNETONKA 6, CHANHASSEN 0: Senior Max Coatta had a goal and two assists to lead the Skippers, ranked No. 6 in Class 2A, to the victory Thursday. Coatta's first-period goal, the 73rd of his career, made him the Skippers' all-time leader in goals scored, assists and points.
CENTENNIAL 5, ANOKA 0: Adam Anderson scored two goals and Kenny Sinna had a goal and two assists for the Cougars, ranked No. 8 in Class 2A, against the Tornadoes.
WAYZATA 4, BURNSVILLE 3: Wayzata, ranked No. 4 in Class 2A, built a 4-0 lead and held on for the victory over the Blaze. Jack Sorensen had a goal and assist for the Trojans. Teemu Kivihalme had a goal and two assists for Burnsville, which scored its three goals in the final six minutes.
BLAINE 4, ELK RIVER/ZIMMERMAN 3 (OT): Tyler Cline's goal at 4:22 of overtime completed the come-from-behind victory for the Bengals. Blaine, ranked No. 9 in Class 2A, trailed 3-1 after two periods.
BRECK 8, MINNEHAHA ACADEMY 3: Jack O'Connor scored three goals to lead the Mustangs, ranked No. 3 in Class 1A, to the Tri-Metro Conference victory.
GIRLS' HOCKEY
Wingers edge Shakopee RED WING 5, SHAKOPEE 4: Nicole Schammel scored four goals to help the Wingers, ranked No. 2 in Class 1A, fend off the Sabers. Red Wing led 4-1 after two periods.
MOUNDS VIEW 2, ROSEVILLE 1: Kathryn Larson and Bella Sutton scored first-period goals as the Mustangs, ranked No. 3 in Class 2A, held off the Raiders, ranked No. 10.
LAKEVILLE NORTH 5, EAGAN 3: Christi Vetter had a goal and two assists and Dani Sadek had three assists to help the Panthers, ranked No. 9 in Class 2A, outlast the Wildcats.
