Firm to look into failures of cables on Martin Olav Sabo bridge: Engineering company that investigated the 35W collapse will look into why cables failed on Sabo span.(Maya Rao and Mary Lynn Smith) Rao reported Wednesday how the city inspector who spent a half day on the bridge last year was stunned that the cables would break loose.

The bridge closure means no trains between Franklin and 38th, but Metro Transit is talking about color schemes: The Hiawatha light-rail line and future transit corridors will be known by colors: the Blue. Red, Green and Orange lines. And the distinctive 'T' is going away. (Paul Walsh)
