Thursday (Rambis, the No. 2 pick and an awkward draft night) edition: Wha' Happened?
Good times.

Well, David Kahn's refusal to address the Kurt Rambis situation with any sort of clarity is really going to come to a head today/tonight, isn't it?
Even if the Yahoo.com report -- that Rambis is about to be fired, while Bernie Bickerstaff and Lorenzo Romar are candidates to replace him -- isn't true, it's now part of the front-brain consciousness during a day that should have been all about the future instead of the murky present.
Even if Kahn refuses to address the report tonight, it will be written about and talked about at length.
Plain and simple: What was (and continues to be) unfair to Rambis is now damaging to the organization. It was bad enough to have a draft two years ago before a head coach was hired. This is even worse. It's awkward and potentially embarrassing. It's detracting from the good Ricky Rubio vibes. It's not something that can't be fixed or shoved back into a deeper corner of our brains. But for now, it's just plain bad.
The new-look top line of Kirill Kaprizov, Matt Boldy and Marco Rossi had a field day in Anaheim, combining for nine points on Friday as the Wild won their fifth in a row.
